The COVID Pandemic has completely disrupted the world of live music. Concert-going seems a distant memory.

In the midst of all the uncertainty Perth Chamber Music put together an almost full 2020-21 season of concerts, in hope and readiness for the easing of Lockdown.

Sadly this concert programme has been disrupted by the COVID pandemic, as the Update below indicates.

Update 11 March 2021

To no avail. Efforts to salvage something from this Concert Series have had to be abandoned. Current COVID restrictions and Roadmap and the continuing uncertainty mean that it is no longer feasible to extend the season into the early Summer months.

As compensation, PCM is aiming for eight concerts in the 21-22 Series (still for the price of six).

Details of ensembles and programmes will be announced at the AGM due to be held on 18 May. Please continue to check this website for information.

Thank you for keeping in touch.

PCM’s 2020-21 season should have consisted of six concerts. At its heart were four recitals demonstrating the breadth and quality of Scottish musicians: the Brodick String Quartet whose programme included Mendelssohn’s tragic final quartet, guitarists Duo Primavera, the exciting young Sinopia String Quartet, and clarinet trios by Scottish Chamber Orchestra Principals, Maximiliano Martin, Philip Higham and Julian Milford.
